In Retrospect

I was born in 1962 in Geneva, Switzerland.
My father was a scholar at the University of Geneva, working on his thesis under the guidance of the notable Jean Piaget, who is often considered one of the fathers of child psychology.
Although my father was offered a position at the prestigious Piaget Institute, he chose instead to accept a position at the child psychology department of the University of Montreal, where he became the director of the Orthopedagogy Department.

As a result, I grew up surrounded by the Canadian environment and wilderness for most of my childhood.

This unique upbringing led to an early and successful career in the ski and mountaineering industry, which afforded me a significant amount of time to observe and ponder the mechanics of the natural world. Starting in the early 1980s, I developed a profound interest in sciences and philosophy, particularly in physics and the nature of the material world.

This fascination led m
