Jean-Guihen Queyras, a renowned French cellist, was born in Canada and spent his early years in Algeria and later in France.
From the tender age of eight, he received his cello education at the Lyon Conservatory. Queyras' musical journey continued at the Freiburg Hochschule für Musik and the prestigious Julliard School in New York.
